In April, area Superintendents signed the Trump administration’s anti-DEI letter that was sent out by the federal Department of Education. Superintendents have have suggested that this letter does not change anything, as our School districts follow all non-discrimination laws. I consider this letter to be a test of how easily public institutions will comply. It is important to remember that as Trump works to make DEI sound like a horrific crime, he often includes accessibility. We want SAU29 to reverse course on this signature and join a lawsuit against this certification that other NH schools have signed on to.

Please bring signs. Keep signs positive - pro-DEI, pro-inclusion, protect our students, etc., rather than anti-SAU29. "Do not comply in advance" could be a good message too.
